What we collect

We do not collect personal information or usage data. There is no account. Nothing is sent to our servers.

What stays on your device

• Your trips (airports and flight times) and usual sleep hours are used to calculate your plan and are stored only on your device.
• Your answers to the first-run questions (such as whether you are a morning or evening person, whether you sleep on planes or nap, and your use of caffeine, alcohol and melatonin) are used to calculate your plan and are stored only on your device. They are never sent to us. You can change them at any time in Settings > About you.
• Sleep records from Health are read only if you allow it, to work out your usual sleep hours and to show actual sleep after a trip. Landlight does not write to Health.
• Calendar is accessed only if you allow it, to find flights, read busy times and add your plan.
• Reminders and the lock screen display are scheduled and updated locally on your device.

Plans are passed to your Apple Watch and widgets within your own devices. Information from Health is never used for advertising or shared with third parties.

Purchases

The free trial and the one-time purchase go through Apple’s App Store. We never receive your payment details.

Network, ads and analytics

Landlight has no ads or analytics. Apart from purchases, calculating and viewing plans needs no connection.

Links to Amazon

In the What to bring tab, tapping a product name opens Amazon search results for that name in Safari. The app passes only the search term. Your trips and answers are not sent. After that, Amazon’s privacy policy applies.

Deleting your data

You can delete trips in the app. Deleting the app removes everything stored on your device.
